This blog isn't to extol the virtues of Palm Oil, or to rage against the environmental damage it can do. I just want to give people an idea about where Palm Oil comes from, the people, the land, the weather (there is a lot of weather) and a bit about my life in Papua New Guinea.
The company I work for are certified by the Round table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) as well as the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SANS) which gives us Rainforest Alliance Certification (this is the green frog you might have noticed on some products like, chocolate, coffee, etc). As far as Palm Oil goes we are the good guys.
