Do you want to be involved in something that has eternal value that not only impacts people spiritually but also helps them in many practical ways? Discover what God is doing in the South Pacific and join us in this great adventure!

Wendy Johnson - I believe that everyone in the South Pacific (and the rest of the world) should have access to a Bible that they can clearly understand in their context. One of my roles with Wycliffe Bible Translators is to share the needs for this area and hope that God will raise up people to join us in the task. My husband and I served in Papua New Guinea for 14 years and, while I’d love to visit all the countries we work in, I have visited Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have about our work and my hope is that some will want to join us. We’ve been serving with Wycliffe for over 30 years and I have to say, it’s a great way to spend your life! Come join us!

So.. Like other hundreds of travelers i created a blog. For ME its a way to record some of ..my madness that i can look at for years to come...

Our Pacific Ways challenges the current systems of exploitation and asks: What if we did things according to Our Pacific ways?

Welcome to the land of the unexpected! I have set up this pickletastic blog to share positive, inspiring, and interesting stories from Papua New Guinea (PNG). In 2013, I ignored the sensational stories and disregarded the narrow-minded reporting on PNG and started a 15-month placement with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO). I’ve been in PNG ever since and it has had a profound effect on me, shaping the course of my future.

My name is Ms. Kessy William Sawang (family and friends call me Kez ).

I’m an aspiring political leader and blogger who advocates for good governance in PNG’s public sector as it is critical for development. I would like to see transformation of rural PNG in inclusive development and there is shared prosperity.
